We have have created multiple courses, including Kayaking, Canoeing and Stand Up Paddleboarding, for young people to have fun, learn new skills and be safe on the Thames river!
Water Sports Camp (details)

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at our water sports camp, designed for youth aged 9 – 13 years! Over three action-packed days, from 10am to 3pm each day, dive into the excitement of canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. Led by a certified British Canoeing coach, you’ll master new skills while ensuring safety on the river.
But it’s not just about the sports – it’s also about forging lifelong friendships with others. Our activities are designed to foster teamwork, developing new skills and enjoyment, so book yourselves on to our camp for a day you won’t forget.
After each thrilling session, stay warm in our facilities complete with showers and changing rooms. Don’t forget to pack a hearty lunch and plenty of water sports gear for an epic experience you’ll treasure forever!
What kit to pack:
- Adequate Sports wear for playing on the river – 2x thermal tops, 2x thermal leggings or tracksuits.
- Plenty of change of clothes for multiple sessions per day (jumpers and tracksuits). We may be going in and out of the river twice per day so bring a change of clothes to stay warm for the second session.
- Packed lunch – water and food. We may go on adventures along the river and have a quick lunch stop on the river banks to refuel ourselves.
- Suncream and cap to stay protected from the sun.

All Girls Learn to Kayak (details)

Join our exclusive all-girls learn-to-kayak sessions, designed to empower young girls aged 9-14! Dive into the thrill of kayaking while building confidence and camaraderie with fellow girls. Under the expert guidance of a qualified British Canoeing coach, you’ll learn essential skills while having a blast on the water.
We provide all the necessary equipment, including buoyancy aids, boats, and paddles. Plus, our facilities offer showers and changing rooms for your comfort and convenience. Come join us for an exhilarating experience where you’ll make new friends and master a new sport with confidence!
What kit to pack:
- 2x thermal tops
- 1x thermal leggings or tracksuit bottoms (shorts if it is warm)
- Spare change of clothes for afterwards
We are also offering a junior girls only session for our youth members each week during the summer period for when you join. This gives you the amazing opportunity to maintain the strong friendships made from the learn to kayak sessions, and continue progressing your kayaking skills!

Join our learn-to-kayak sessions, tailored for adventurers aged 9-14 years! Embark on a journey to build your skills, forge friendships, and prioritize safety on the river. Under the guidance of a certified British Canoeing coach, you’ll navigate the waters equipped with buoyancy aids, boats, and paddles. After the excitement, warm up in our showers and changing rooms. Dive into the thrill of kayaking while staying safe and having a blast!
What kit to pack:
- 2x thermal tops
- 1x thermal leggings or tracksuit bottoms (shorts if it is warm)
- Spare change of clothes for afterwards
Sessions run from spring all the way to Autumn
Saturday from 11:30am to 12:30pm
Wednesday from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.
